Community Manager: China / Hong Kong

You are the type of person who loves to motivate and encourage others. You are passionate about technology, and love staying up-to-date on the latest developments. You are able to blend in and collaborate with diverse groups, whether it’s technical people or salespeople in suits. You are detail-oriented and love getting things done.

As the OpenZeppelin & ZeppelinOS Community Manager, you will be the organizing brains and the welcoming heart of our Asian community.

What you'll do

  • Grow and energize the Asian community of OpenZeppelin & ZeppelinOS advocates.

  • Motivate leaders in the community to contribute code, content, evangelize and act as references.

  • Partner with the rest of the marketing organization to make community an extension of our marketing team through contributed content, references, and more.

  • Track metrics around the success of the OpenZeppelin & ZeppelinOS community, including overall community participation and downstream impact on our project.

  • Plan, coordinate, organize and cover meetups, hackathons and other events in Asia, with a focus in China and Hong Kong.

Who we're looking for

  • An excellent communicator, with proficient written and spoken communication skills in English and Mandarin.

  • An individual experienced in working remotely with international teams.

  • An active member or contributor to different local events, meetups and/or community channels.

  • A passionate relationship-builder with strong networking and organizational skills.

  • An organized, data-driven professional with a love for self time management.

  • Extroverted personality - you should get energy from interacting with others.


  • Previous experience contributing or managing crypto or open source projects.

  • Lives or lived in China for some time during the past 3 years.

  • Spent 2+ years living or studying in the US or other Western countries, or working with a project based in the US or other Western countries.
